OceanXplorer's Reef-Sleep offers a unique overnight adventure which unfolds both below and above the sea! A quick trip from Port Douglas to Rachel Carson Reef, arrive at your floating hotel where your outdoor reef adventure begins.
Relax and recharge by night aboard the fully-licensed, air-conditioned mothership, MV SuperSport. Explore the reef by day - and night - with the qualified instructors. Snorkel, scuba and night-dive, kayak, kite-surf, sail, fish or simply recline on the sundeck with a cool drink, the options are endless.
All the comforts of home from ready-made beds to on-board barbecues await you, surrounded by the unsurpassed splendour that is the Great Barrier Reef. Choose from private double ensuited berths to shared facility bunk rooms for those on a budget.

A whole new world at sea, whether you're a certified water-baby, or first-timer, the qualified instructors are happy to show you step-by-step how to get up-close and personal with a magnificent array of tropical fish, clam and coral gardens. The crew are fully trained in all safe snorkelling, scuba diving and kayaking techniques, so simply choose your sport and let the fun begin. The fleet of support vessels can ferry you safely to and from the base at MV SuperSport to discover a wide range of the very best reef sites and secluded beaches.
From the sea to the table leave it to the crew, or enjoy catching your own, with fishing one of the many relaxing pastimes you can experience at OceanXplorer's Reef Sleep. The gallery kitchen serves succulent seafood and other delicious local produce daily. Begin with breakfast in the saloon, enjoy a beach picnic or onboard buffet for lunch, and end your day with a gourmet barbecue served alfresco under the stars. Your OceanXplorer Reef-Sleep includes all meals, designated to energise all 'OceanXplorers' for another day of discovery.
The Reef-Sleep Adventure is on a per night per person basis. All marine operations are subject to the local weather conditions. OceanXplorer reserves the right to change any information or prices without notice. GBRMPA Government Environmental Management Charge (EMC), fuel levy, administration charge is AUD15.00 per day/night on the reef.
