Celebrating its seventh year the Whitsunday Reef Festival is the biggest festival in the region. This 10 day celebration will incorporate more than 14 main events, hosted over 12 different venues, featuring fabulous food, wine, live entertainment, fashion and fun for the kids.
The Whitsunday Reef Festival remains to deliver a festival, which inspires, excites and contains a number of special features that exemplify the Whitsunday lifestyle. Festival highlights include the ever-popular Cracker night that is great for families, the Esplanade dinner party, and Airlie's longest and most extravagant dinner table. Main street mania will have everyone dancing in the streets with live bands all night. The Comedy gala will be bursting at the seams and the foreshore fiesta will get everyone in the mood for some Sunday grooving and don't forget to start working on those floats for the Street Parade.

Fly - Into Proserpine, Whitsunday Coast Airport. Then travel 30 minutes by road transport to Airlie Beach. Road - Highway One, until you turn right (if travelling north) into Shute Harbour Road. Turn left (if travelling south) into Shute Harbour Road, follow until you get to Airlie Beach, approximately 16 kilometres. Boat - Abel Point Marina.
