Camping guests need to bring all their gear themselves. Resort is basic but comfortable and clean. Cafe caters for breakfasts, lunches, snacks and dinner.
Hook Island is the second largest island of the Whitsundays, North Queensland. Located on the edge of the Coral Sea it is separated from Whitsunday Island by Hook Passage, a deep narrow channel populated by fish, turtles and whales.
Mooring is available out the front of resort for boats. Please contact the resort for more details.
A ferry leaves Shute Harbour at 9.00 a.m. daily and returns to Shute Harbour at 5.00 p.m. on the day of departure. The cost is AUD25.00 per person each way.
