Children: Children are welcome. Two children under the age of 14 years stay free of charge when sharing with two adults and using existing bedding. Additional inclusions may incur an additional cost.
Disabled: The resort is wheelchair accessible and has three rooms catering for guests with a disability, with open showers and wheelchair friendly bathroom facilities. The rainforest walk and sunlovers beach are the only areas considered not accessible by wheelchair.
Miscellaneous:
Children 0 to 14 stay free using existing bedding in rooms including complimentary full buffet breakfast. Maximum of two children per room.
Cancellation within 72 hours of arrival will incur a one night's cancellation fee.
There are three fully licensed restaurants located on the resort. Waterfalls Restaurant offers a tantalising buffet breakfast of varied cuisine. Mermaids Al a carte Restaurant offers a 'beach club' style lunch and a unique culinary experience for dinner. Reservations recommended. Mermaids offer 'beach club' style lunch, and a unique culinary experience for dinner. Catering for up to 150 people. Reservations for dinner are recommended. The Fish Bowl Tavern offers a light bar snacks menu. The Fish Bowl is a great escape for a game of pool, or a night of dancing. Also on the Island is Gilligan's Health Hut that provides a range of snacks including ice creams and smoothies.
Take the Bruce Highway to Airlie Beach and follow the main road to Shute Harbour. Secured parking is available at Shute Harbour, where Fantasea Cruises and Cruise Whitsundays will transfer you to the Island. Guests can access the property via the Great Barrier Reef Airport (HTI), Whitsunday Coast Airport (PPP), Able Point Marina or Shute Harbour. No courtesy transfers are available.
