What to bring - Casual resort style beach wear for daytime, smart casual for the evenings. Also include camera, sunscreen, insect repellent and suitable footwear for the beach and island National Park walks.
Children under the age of 12 are not catered for and there are no day trippers.
Regular flights are available from all major Australian Capital cities to Brampton Island via Mackay. Helicopter flights from Mackay to Brampton Island are also available. The flight between Mackay and Brampton Island takes approximately 15 minutes. A courtesy coach transfers guests from Mackay Airport at 11.00 a.m. to Mackay Marina. Launch departs Mackay Marina at 11.30 a.m. and arrives at Brampton Island at 12.45 p.m. The return trip from Brampton Island departs at 1.15 p.m. and arrives at Mackay Airport at 3.00 p.m. This service does not operate Christmas Day.
