Beaches Backpackers is located in the heart of Airlie Beach, just across from the waterfront and the town's man-made lagoon - for year round swimming! Beaches' central position and popular bar and restaurant provides nightly entertainment and offers the best of Airlie's famous nightlife.

Airlie Beach is the gateway to the famous Whitsunday Islands and World Heritage Listed Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. The unspoiled beauty of these 74 tropical islands can be experienced through a range of activities such as sailing, scuba diving, and snorkelling - it's no wonder the Whitsundays is known as the greatest aquatic playground on earth!

The friendly team at Beaches are trained to give genuine advice and offer great deals on a range of sailing, diving adventures and day tour options.

The hostel offers eight share dormitory rooms, and private double or twin rooms. Each room has an ensuite bathroom, television, mini-fridge, air conditioning and it's own private balcony. All rooms are serviced on a daily basis.

Courtesy transfers are available to and from the bus station daily from 6.40 a.m. to 8.40 p.m.

From the Bruce Highway, follow the signs to Airlie Beach. Beaches Backpackers is located on the main street (Shute Harbour Road) in the centre of Airlie Beach, on the right hand side opposite the Airlie Beach Lagoon.
