Carnarvon Gorge Wilderness Lodge is situated at the entrance to spectacular Carnarvon Gorge, about 250 kilometres north of Roma. They offer advanced, eco-accredited, rooms that were renovated in 2005. A wide shady verandah allows you to sit back and listen to the sounds of the bush and watch the variety of wildlife.

Children: Children are welcome. Children aged zero to three can stay free of charge with a paying adult. Children aged 12 and over are classed as adults.

Children must be supervised at all times.
Charge of one nights accommodation will apply if cancellation is received within 14 days of arrival date.
Squatters Restaurant with a large bar deck set amongst ancient Macrozamia's. An A la Carte Menu (three course). Seats 100 people.
A rollaway bed is available in all rooms except the Queen plus Two Singles Cabin for an additional charge of AUD65.00 per night.
No cooking facilities to be used on site. No domestic animals. Under heavy rains road is inaccessible.
Travel from Brisbane to Roma, and through to Injune. Turn off one and a quarter hours past Injune then 44 kilometres to lodge off Carnarvon Development Road. The Lodge is 62 kilometres south of Rolleston or 120 kilometres north of Injune.
