Only accessible by boat, Crocodile Explorer is the only luxury, air-conditioned cruise taking small numbers of visitors along Trinity Inlet on this scenic nature cruise. With waterways winding through a maze of mangroves, expect rich diverse wildlife, stunning scenery and a relaxing cruise with informative commentary from your crew. This is the saltwater crocodile's natural habitat - spot them basking on the muddy banks.

Get up close and personal to the crocodiles by gaining exclusive access to the Cairns Crocodile Farm. During your insider's tour, see crocodiles in their natural environment and learn from a very knowledgeable tour guide about breeding habits, how the eggs are collected and how the crocodiles are farmed for their skin. Passengers are then treated to an informative and remarkable one-hour tour of the Cairns Crocodile Farm followed by a 30-minute coach tour back to Cairns via the southern corridor. The coach tour takes in the wide open sugar cane fields and surrounding mountain ranges. Throughout the tour passengers receive informative commentary from our trained interpretive staff.

Crocodile Explorer also operates a Sunset Cruise and Sunset Cruise and Dinner package.

Free Family Fun Package available to children at no extra cost. Inclusions are a free drink for children, tour of the wheelhouse, crocodile colour-in sheet and Crocodile Explorer certificate. Children's educational workbooks are available in two levels, six to 12 and 13 plus.

How To Get There:
The company include transfers from Cairns and Northern Beach accommodation houses or self drive to The Reef Fleet Terminal, 1 Spence Street. They recommend you park in front of the Pier Market Place (a small additional cost).

Cairns Sunset Cruises

Picture yourself drinking sparkling wine on deck while watching the tropical sunset from Trinity Inlet. A sunset cruise aboard the MV Crocodile Explorer sets the tone for an unforgettable evening. As their friendly crew greet you on board you will be offered a welcome drink and savoury nibbles to enjoy on deck prior to departure. Departing at 5.30 p.m., the cruise allows passengers to soak in beautiful views of the waterways, mangroves and mountains in the magical early evening sun.

The cruise departs every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening from the Reef Fleet Terminal. The 90 minute sunset cruise includes a sparkling wine, standard beer, wine or soft drink on arrival and savoury nibbles.

Sunset Cruise and Dinner Package

Departing at 5.30 p.m., the cruise allows passengers to soak in beautiful views of the waterways, mangroves and

mountains in the magical early evening sun. The Sunset Cruise includes a basic drink and savoury nibbles on arrival.

After the cruise, take a short stroll along the Marlin Marina to Dundee's Restaurant, located just 100 metres from the Reef Fleet Terminal. Dinner includes a three course set menu at one of Cairns best waterfront restaurants.

The Sunset Cruise and Dinner Package departs every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening from the Reef Fleet Terminal.
