The Cairns Indigenous Art Fair (CIAF) offers an opportunity to experience the beauty and diversity of Indigenous cultures. Held over three days annually in August, CIAF is an unparalleled celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art, dance and music.

Over the past three years CIAF has emerged as the nation's premier art fair. It has given more than 33,500 visitors the chance to immerse themselves in the state's rich diversity of Indigenous art in an ethically sound environment, with both commercial art galleries and Indigenous art centres selling artwork by Queensland born or based Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists.

The CIAF team looks forward to welcoming you to the fourth year of displaying to the world the spectacular vibrancy of Queensland Indigenous art.

Children:
A fun, active, free program for children and families presented daily by FNQ REACH. All are welcome to join in with hands-on art production, a truly interactive way of learning about Indigenous culture.

Further Details:
The CIAF Opening Party is held on Thursday 16 August at the Cairns Cruise Liner Terminal. Tickets are AUD55 and includes refreshments.
The CIAF Symposium will be held on Friday 17 August and Saturday 18 August. Location: Centre of Contemporary Arts, 96 Abbott St. Entry: AUD25/AUD15 concessions, per day.
Tickets for both events go on sale May.
