Cooktown is one of Australia's exciting new destinations. There is a range of one to three day tours available from Cairns, Northern Beaches and Port Douglas.

Locally owned and operated, Adventure North Australia operate purpose built four-wheel drive tours to Cooktown via the Daintree Coast, Cape Tribulation and the Outback of Far North Queensland.

The four-wheel drive tours offer diverse scenery as you travel on one of Australia's most scenic coastal drives along the Daintree-Cape Tribulation coast where the Great Barrier Reef meets the Rainforest.

Traverse mountain ranges and river crossings through some of Australia's remote region of Tropical North Queensland. The experienced, professional and friendly driver-guides have incredible enthusiasm and extensive knowledge of the region around Cape Tribulation and Cooktown.

Tariff Information:
All children on any tour must be accompanied by an adult. Child rates apply for ages four to 14 years. The operator cannot guarantee pick up or drop off times and are not liable for passenger failure to connect with other services. Whilst they make every effort to safe guard their clients and their belongings they cannot be held responsible for personal injury or loss due to events which are beyond their control.
The operator reserves the right to cancel any tour, change vehicle type or arrange an alternative carrier if the minimum numbers in a group is not sufficient.

Weather:
Tours are subject to weather conditions, along the Bloomfield Track, alternative route will be taken via the inland road.

Cancellation Information:
The operator reserves the right to alter the tour or itinerary of schedules to an alternative operator if necessary.
No refund will be given in these circumstances or in the event of any delay, curtailment or alteration of a trip resulting from any cause including severe weather conditions or mechanical failure.
Travel Insurance is not included. The operator reserves the right to apply a fuel levy, payable in addition to the tour costs.
Cancellation within 48 hours prior to departure, 100 per cent non refundable. Cancellation within seven days of travel, 50 per cent non refundable.

Cooktown One Day Four Wheel Drive (4WD) Adventure

Travel along one of Australia's most scenic coastal routes through the World Heritage listed Daintree National Park, crossing the Daintree River by cable ferry. Your experienced guide will detail incredible stories and history as you travel the Bloomfield Track. Lunch at the famous Lion's Den Hotel and continue to the unique geological oddity, Black Mountain, surrounded in mystery and spoken of in ancient Aboriginal legend. Arrive in Cooktown to a 360 degree view from Grassy Hill of the Endeavour River and Cooktown, with free time to explore. Two Day Cooktown Explorer

Cooktown is one of Australia's exciting new destinations. If you are into history, botany, adventure, getting away from it all, seeing the rainforest and the outback, or four wheel driving then this is the trip for you. Travel through the heart of the World Heritage Listed Daintree National Park by four wheel drive as you traverse the famous Bloomfield Track, crossing rivers and mountain ranges. Have lunch at an Aussie bush pub, see the mysterious Black Mountains. Stay overnight in the historical township of Cooktown. Visit Grassy Hill with spectacular 360 degree views of the Coral Sea and Endeavour River. Day two you are free to explore Cooktown before returning to Cairns and Port Douglas following the Great Dividing Range, the Outback of Far North Queensland.
