Starting on the ranges in Northern Queensland, the route winds its way south over approximately 2,600 kilometres finishing in New South Wales Riverina. This ride takes in Hughenden, Winton, Longreach, Yowah, Eulo and Bourke to name just a few of the classic outback towns. An epic: 37 days, split into five stages, each unique in their landscape and attractions, but keeping the flavour of the whole ride...the (not so short!) ride name gives a hint at what to expect. Outback rail services make joining and leaving the ride a pleasure by linking to the start and finish of each stage.

Miscellaneous:
Cancellation fee of AUD150.00 applies up to 90 days prior to departure. 90 days to 60 days prior will result in loss of 50 per cent of deposit or AUD250.00 whichever is the greater amount. Within 60 to 30 days of departure, cancellation fee of 50 per cent of full fare applies. Within 30 days of departure or no-show, cancellation fee of 75 per cent of full fare applies and within 14 day 100 per cent of full fare applies.

Tours include most meals, camping / accommodation as specified, experienced guide, full support, luggage transportation and some park entry fees (as specified). ROC Tours include the use of a mountain bike, helmet, tent and sleeping mat. Sleeping bag hires additional AUD25.00. Dual suspension mountain bikes may be hired for other tours.
