Villas are the largest range of our accommodation and are surrounded by lush tropical gardens. All Villas are self contained with a separate main bedroom and accommodate up to eight people in two double beds, one single and a set of triple bunks. Ideal for families and small groups.

Double or twin roomettes are considered 'luxury camping for fishermen'. Economically priced, they are fitted with an air conditioner, television and either a double or twin beds.

Fishing and Boating - Catch barramundi, mangrove jack, estuary cod, bream, flathead, salmon, whiting and sand crabs. Take your boat, fish from the jetty or let the staff at the Kookaburra arrange a Fishing Charter for you. Cardwell Lookout and Forest Drive - Enjoy picturesque views of the surrounding area, then continue to drive through timber plantations to enjoy freshwater swimming at Attie Falls, Deadhorse Creek and the Spa Pool.
Five Mile Swimming Hole - An easy accessible, popular picnic spot with a cool, shaded, freshwater swimming hole. Edmund Kennedy National Park - A three kilometre walking track with boardwalks penetrating mangrove swamps, enabling visitors to appreciate the diversity of vegetation and bird watching
Coming from the South: Kookaburra Holiday Park is located 800 metres north of the town on the Bruce Highway on the left hand side of the road. Coming from the North: Kookaburra Holiday Park is located on the right hand side of the Highway 800 metres before the town.
By bus (Some coach companies run a number of services daily to Cardwell). By train (There are three services a week to Cardwell).
