The resort is nestled within 11 acres of lush tropical gardens and is only four kilometres from Cairns City Centre and only five kilometres from the Cairns International and Domestic Airports.
With 345 rooms spread over four different categories there is something for everyone. An extensive five million dollar refurbishment took place in 2008 and the results are stunning. All rooms have been fully refreshed with new paint, carpet, beds, bed linen, artwork, lighting and 32 inch LCD televisions. Many enhancements have also been made to the facilities and award winning surroundings.
The resort is also renowned for great food and excellent service. Overlooking one of the three pristine lagoon pools, is the Homestead Restaurant, offering a relaxed approach to dining. For light snacks and cocktails, the Poolside Cafe is ideal.

Children: Children are welcome at the resort. The Resort features a children's playground, games room and children's swimming pool. Children are free in existing bedding when staying with adults.
Disabled: The complimentary city shuttle bus is wheel chair accessible. A number of the resort rooms are wheel chair friendly, containing a ramp, ample wheelchair space, a chair in the shower and hand rails in the bathroom.
Miscellaneous:
The right is reserved in the event of a cancellation within 48 hours prior to arrival, to charge a cancellation fee of one night's accommodation.
There are two licensed restaurants on the property, Homestead, and Poolside. The Homestead Restaurant serves inexpensive meals in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. An a la carte menu and salad buffet are available every evening and the restaurant is also open for breakfast. Capacity: 250 guests. The Poolside Cafe is located at the waters edge of one of the magnificent swimming pools. This area boasts lush garden surrounds with cafe style meals and is open daily for lunch and dinner. Capacity: 90 guests.
Complimentary airport and city transfers are available. Please enquire upon booking. Airport transfers must be pre-booked.
Driving north along Sheridan Street from the city centre, turn left into James Street which becomes Andersen Street, then turn right into McNamara Street, left into Cannon Street, and the resort is on your right. Courtesy transfers are available from the Airport, Seaport, Railway, and Bus stop on request. Also regular courtesy transfers to and from the city centre are available. Driving from the Airport, ravel along Airport Avenue, turn left at lights onto Captain Cook Highway. Turn right onto James Street, at next set of lights turn right onto McNamara Street, first left into Cannon Street.
