BIG4 Atherton Woodlands Tourist Park is situated 1.5 kilometres from the Atherton post office and is within easy driving distance of all the famous Tableland tourist attractions. Featuring six acres of award winning gardens with a salt water pool, Woodlands offers a variety of accommodation to suit all budgets, accommodating two to six people. All have balconies overlooking the gardens and/or swimming pool.
Powered camping sites are also available with well equipped amenities and laundry facilities and camp kitchen with all guests being able to enjoy the free gas barbecues. BIG4 Atherton Woodlands Tourist Park is also pleased to offer ""free wireless internet"" access to guests travelling with their own laptop.

Disabled: One Superior Ensuite Family Villa has been specifically designed for wheelchair access with regards to doorways and size of rooms. The bathroom has also been specifically designed for wheelchair usage with adjustable shower rose and seat. Disabled facilities are also available in the amenities block for both men and ladies.

Big4 Atherton Woodland Tourist Park now have an internet kiosk and a Balinese Cabana in the pool area. All Villa style rooms have Austar.
BIG4 Atherton Woodlands Tourist Park is a quiet, peaceful park backing onto state forest. The Park is well known for its bird life and is visited by many avid bird watchers with many species of bird found in the Park. Butterflies flitter and flutter through the gardens and a family of bush wallabies also call BIG4 Atherton Woodlands Tourist Park home. During the wet season, platypus come or visit. Warm and friendly hospitality awaits, while you enjoy a cooler climate and nature's magnificence.
Cancellation Policy A refund of deposit will only be made if sufficient notice is given to Park management either by telephone or email. For bookings during Queensland school holidays, Easter, Christmas/New Year week & high season (1 June-30 September) 30 days notice must be given. For cancellations within 30 days the deposit with be retained. In the event the booking is resold the deposit may be refunded less a AUD10.00 administration fee. At all other times, 72 hours is considered sufficient notice for a full refund of deposit. Refund of Fully Paid Accommodation: In the event of accommodation being paid for and not fully utilised, that is if the guest leaves of their own accord, earlier than the booked departure date, a refund of those charges will only be made if the unused portion of the booking can be resold or vacant villas/cabins are available in the same category.
From Cairns, take the Kennedy Highway to the Tablelands, via the Kuranda Range through to Atherton, arriving in the main street. Drive through "Main Street" (as it is named) of Atherton. At second roundabout (next to visitor information centre) continue straight ahead 1.5 kilometres on Herberton Road, just past the Chinese Temple on the right hand side of the street.
