Atherton Tablelands Motor Inn-Motel is a quiet and friendly country motel with plenty of off-street parking. They enjoy a prominent position set back from the Kennedy Highway backing onto rainforest which boasts an abundant birdwatching experience with over 60 different species being identified by Leigh, a birdwatching enthusiast. Their licensed restaurant, with drinks at hotel prices, as well as their outdoor dining and barbecue area, lends itself to functions, weddings and seminars as well as everyday guests. They are 15 minutes to beautiful Lake Tinaroo and then the Waterfall Circuit. The motel rooms overlook and join the sports oval and tennis courts.
Owner/Managers guarantee you a warm and friendly welcome and the cleanliness of their accommodation is paramount. Their policy of 'Come as guests - leave as friends"" is born out by their repeat business. It's a five minute walk to The Village for the facilities of hotel, post office, bakery, hairdresser, newsagents, takeaway and more - a great village atmosphere. How To Get There:
If you are leaving Atherton on the Kennedy Highway towards Mareeba, travel through the Tolga Scrub, past the tennis courts and sports oval for approximately four minutes. The motel is on the right hand side of the Kennedy Highway.
If you are coming from Mareeba, the motel is approximately 25 minutes along on the left hand side.
Look for the standout blue lights at night.
