Description

The Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon is the largest kids triathlon series in the world. The Townsville event will encourage kids of all fitness levels and abilities to have a go and have fun in a safe and inclusive environment.

By participating in the program kids gain more confidence and self esteem while establishing better lifestyle activity and nutrition habits. Every child that finishes the course receives a medal and certificate from a sporting hero. No places or times are kept.

The event held in May 2011 at Riverway attracted approximately 400 kids. It is hoped the benefits gained from the program are long-lasting and lead each participant to health, happiness, and achievement of their life goals.
