Description

Horse of the North Challenge is a Stockman's Challenge event held annually at the Dalrymple Equestrian Centre, Charters Towers. There are two major age divisions; Under five yearss Challenge and Open Challenge. The event consists of a Dry Work Pattern and a Cattlework section, similar to campdrafting. The even is run in conjunction with the Toomba Stockhorse Sale.

The vision for Horse of the North is to build an event that is for all Competitors; be they the seasoned professional or first timer - everyone is welcome and encouraged. The committee's focus is on seeing horsemanship improve; especially with the younger up and coming riders - they are the future of their sport.

There is over AUD 50,000 in cash and prizes to win.
