Barramundi fishing charters at its best. Go on a fishing adventure to pristine Hinchinbrook Island and experience the rush of tangling with Giant barramundi and many other tropical sportfish including Threadfin salmon, mangrove jack and fingermark. The Hinchinbrook channel is 30 miles of creeks and channels that wind between the island and the mainland. This region has always been voted the most scenic fishing destination anywhere in the country and it really is breath-taking. The channel has also been closed to commercial nets for 14 years and has a fishery to complement that fact. There are also many species of birds and other animals such as crocodiles, dugong, turtles and dolphins for the nature lovers.

General Comments
Your guide Ryan Moody has been in the fishing charter industry for 25 years and has one of the best reputations in the industry especially for big barramundi. They provide fast, comfortable and clean vessels so you enjoy your experience even more. They provide all bait, lures and tackle and have large onboard esky for your bring your own food and drinks.
Barra season starts 1 February and closes on 1 November. Charters during the barra closure are still available to target other species such as thredfin, fingermark, jacks and grunter.
