Coral Sea Kayaking, based in Mission Beach, offer trips of paddling to stunning rainforest clad National Park Islands within the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. Half day and one day trips visit Dunk Island or paddle along the tropical coastline.
The extended trips can go up to seven days and include camping and paddling through uninhabited island. The qualified, friendly guides have a wealth of knowledge regarding the local history, the island and reef ecology and they take pride in offering ecologically sound trips.
Coal Sea Kayaking small group trips offer an active and eco-friendly way to explore and appreciate these areas of great natural beauty, with opportunities to also enjoy snorkeling and interpretive island rainforest walks.

Day trip and half day tours - cancellations prior to 48 hours will be fully refunded, less than 48 hours notice may forfeit the full amount. Extended tours - cancellations after booking and 30 days prior to departure your deposit will be forfeited, after 30 days and prior to 15 days a 50 per cent of tour price will be charged. Less than 15 days prior and after commencement of the tour 100 per cent of tour price will be charged. Changing date of departure will not incur any fees on any of the tours. If Coral Sea Kayaking cancel the tour for any reason a full refund will be given. However, if booking through an agent you may like to check their booking conditions. Tours can sometimes be cancelled due to bad weather conditions, a full refund will be given.
All the trips depart from Mission Beach. Their day trips and half days trips depart 8.20 a.m. from South Mission Beach. A courtesy pick up is available from the Mission Beach Area, which can be arranged when booking.
Coral Sea Kayaking tours are an eco friendly way to get up close to nature. For active people who like to experience things first hand and enjoy getting out and about, these tours are for you. The islands have few other visitors and you have the opportunity to truly appreciate this area of stunning natural beauty. You could be lucky enough to see turtles and other marine life, including dugongs and rays as you paddle the coastal and island waters.
During the months of August and September, humpback whales migrate through the Islands and can occasionally be seen.
