Description
Island Leisure Resort is a family resort with self-contained Polynesian bure'-style units with a kitchen, large digital television, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, patio and triple bunk for the kids. The resort is surrounded by an acre of beautifully landscaped tropical gardens with a huge lagoon pool and spa. Other facilities include a full size tennis court, games room, licensed kiosk, poolside barbecue area, guest laundry and kids craft room. Free wireless internet is available to resort guests.
... moreYou can choose from the self-contained family studio bures accommodating a maximum of two adults and three children (0-15 years) or the twin/triple bures accommodating a maximum of three adults.
Only 50 metres to the beach and five minutes walk to restaurants and shops, a full tour desk and management are on site. Ideally located in Nelly Bay, a 15 minute walk from the ferry terminal or jump on the island buses at the front of the ferry terminal (a small charge applies). Limited taxis are available.

General Comments
Island Leisure Resort is a family resort. We have a strict no party policy and do not accept Full Moon Party or Schoolies bookings.
The bures are self catering and serviced weekly with clean towels provided every third day. Additional linen is available for a nominal charge.
How To Get There
Magnetic Island is situated eight kilometres from Townsville and can be accessed by both car or passenger ferry. Both ferries dock at Nelly Bay. Island Leisure Resort is one kilometre from the ferry terminal, buses meet all passenger ferries and the bus stop is situated at the front of the resort.
