Hidden Valley Cabins is an award winning eco friendly resort. They are Australia's first carbon neutral accommodation and tour company and operate on 100 per cent solar power. They are located one and half hours northwest of Townsville, near Running River on the western slope of the Paluma range in Queensland, Australia.

They're ideal for a relaxing holiday to recharge your batteries and experience the Australian outback tranquility. Hidden Valley is fast becoming a tourist destination that should not be missed. While you're in the area, take a walk to Running River and watch the platypus play, see the wallabies grazing and spot some very interesting birds. There has been over 130 species of birds sighted in the Hidden Valley area so far.

The climate is another great feature of the area. It is usually eight degrees cooler than the coast summer, the ideal place to sit by woodfires in the winter. Whichever way you decide to get here, there is always an alternative way to leave. Enjoy the Paluma Range with its spectacular waterfalls, or visit Wallaman Falls just out of Ingham.
