Billabong Lodge Motel is a fresh family orientated Motel situated on the main Townsville Motel strip of Bowen Road. The Motel also caters for the corporate trade and sporting groups, and refurbishment of bathrooms is presently underway.
The property operates Bed and Breakfast style seven days a week and also offers restaurant meals Monday to Friday. Situated on Bowen Road, it is within walking distance to a number of restaurants, shops, fast food takeaways and service stations, and a supermarket is just 900 metres away.
The pleasant mushroom design allows lots of fresh air to circulate keeping temperatures well down, and the cars cool and dry. The property remains close to the new General Hospital and university, racecourse, golf course, and the main shopping precinct of Ross River Road. It is also close to the Civic Theatre and the new Train Station.

From south, turn right at the traffic lights at the race course and drive two kilometres until you get to the third motel on the right. From north, turn right at Castletown Shopping Centre into Kings Road. Follow until you get to a BP service station (located on Cross Street) and turn right onto Bowen Road. Motel located about 800 metres up the road on the left hand side.
