... moreSee Maleny come alive as mobile mills fire up and the smell of fresh-cut sawdust brings Maleny's timber heritage into the 21st century, the Wootha Prize Exhibition - a woodworking competition with a conscience and lovingly crafted products by furniture-makers and toy-makers, musical instrument-makers and box-makers, whittlers, carvers and everything in between.
Live action includes demonstrations by chainsaw, trade and woodworking tool and equipment experts. For young visitors there are loads of free activities and street theatre. There's entertainment for everyone with exhibits including eco-friendly products for home and garden, local produce and gourmet foods, environmental displays, local native plants, great food and much more!

There are free children's activities but main interest is for adults. Live music program is suitable for teenagers and adults.
Disabled:
All venues are accessible for guests with a disability. Facilities include a drop off point, disabled toilets and easy roads between venues.

Children must be accompanied by an adult as there are working demonstrations of mobile sawmills and chainsaws.
How To Get There
From the Bruce Highway, take the Steve Irwin Way / Landsborough exit. At Landsborough continue over the railway line and up the hill to Maleny township. Turn left at Coral Street after Obi Creek Bridge and again at Miva Street T-intersection. The showgrounds is on your left just after the bridge.
If travelling through Woodford, follow the signs to Maleny via Stanley-River Road. The showgrounds are on the right before you get to Maleny.
If travelling south through the Mary Valley through Kenilworth and Conondale, turn right into Miva Street at the top of Maleny township, continue over the bridge and the showgrounds are on the left.
