16 Guidelines for a Happy Life program from the Essential Education for Children publication Ready Set Happy as the foundation for this year's activities. Children, young people, and their families will be provided with materials on each guideline and have the opportunity to use the guidelines and activities at home to maintain interest and let ideas sink in.
Some topics include responsibility, forgiveness, gratitude, principles, aspirations, service, and courage.
The focus is on fun whilst learning about living a happy life. Included meditation, games, story-telling, discussions, sharing, and art and craft.
Bring water, morning tea snack, hat, shoes, and towel for meditation/relaxation. Gold coin donation appreciated to help meet the cost of materials.
