Description

The Australian Body Art Carnivale will again be 'A Festival of Colour' centred around body art in its many and varied forms. It's nothing short of phenomenal to watch the human canvases take shape during the competitions.

There will be a feast of entertainment including a gala launch and competitions and exhibitions in body art, face painting, pavement art, wearable art, vehicle body art, photography, and visual art. There will also be music, world-class street performers, workshops and a whole lot more.

Put the date in your diary, it's sure to be a colourful event!

How To Get There:
The Australian Body Art Carnivale is held in Eumundi, in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, only a 15 minute scenic drive from Noosa Heads.
If travelling by car, Eumundi is just over an hour north of Brisbane along the Bruce Highway.
If travelling by public transport, visitors coming to Eumundi can use a combination of rail and public bus. If coming from Brisbane, take the train from Brisbane Central or Roma Street to Nambour, then transfer to a connecting bus for Eumundi. The reverse applies going home with a bus service to Nambour and a connecting train back to Brisbane.
Please note that there are direct train services to the Eumundi Station, however services are extremely limited.

The only ticketed event is the gala opening event on Friday, 13 May 2011 at 1800, otherwise all activities are free. Please refer to the web site for details of this event.
