Nestled in a gum forest in the Sunshine Coast hinterland is a beautiful retreat, Amytis Gardens Retreat and Spa, offering tranquillity, indulgence, pampering and a newly opened European Cooking School, led by Head Chef Matthew Conroy.
A real learning experience, with traditional Italian where cuisine always have a hint of garlic and a scent of sunshine, or discover the secrets and science of chocolate making, in their Wickedly Delicious Chocolate class. A combination of hands-on cooking classes and demonstrations held in their air-conditioned well-equipped kitchen will give you the opportunity to create your own culinary masterpieces. Class sizes are kept small with a maximum of eight students, enabling you to get your hands and taste buds into every aspect.
Matthew Conroy has been fortunate to travel throughout Europe and experience the food varieties from Scandinavia to Spain. Matthew's work has taken him into the exclusive renowned London kitchen ""The Dorchester Hotel"", and his passion lies in using the freshest premium grade ingredients to bring you a mouth watering experience you will be able to recreate at home.

Open Times:
The Italian Class operates every Wednesday and Saturday from 0930 to 1230. Wicked Chocolate operates every Sunday from 0930 to 1230. Traditional English high Tea is also available from Wednesday to Sunday (minimum of two people). Bookings are essential.

How to get There
Exit off the Bruce Highway at Maroochydore Exit, follow Maroochydore Road for approximately one kilometre, then turn left into Ti-Tree Road, then second left into Malone Road. You will see the sign which you follow up an easement road to top of mountain where the car park is found.
