The Sunshine Coast offers the perfect mix of coast and hinterland, just an hour’s drive north from Brisbane.

It extends from the Glasshouse Mountains, north to Rainbow Beach through the coastal towns of Caloundra, Mooloolaba, Maroochydore, Coolum and Noosa. Its green hinterland stretches from Beerwah north through Maleny, Montville, Mapleton, Nambour, Yandina, Eumundi to Mary Valley.  
 
Getting there is a breeze. You can fly/drive from Brisbane or fly into Sunshine Coast airport in the heart of the Coast and hire a car.

The coast’s beaches and the hinterland are a quick 30-minute hop from each other … so breakfast overlooking Coolum Beach, a walk in cool Kondalilla National Park and an afternoon of beach cricket or lazing by the pool are easy if you want to move that fast!
 
With more than 60 kilometres of unspoilt beaches, you’ll never have trouble finding a stretch of sand to call your own. Paddling with the kids, learning to kite surf at Caloundra’s Golden Beach or exploring Noosa National Park’s rocky outcrops… it’s about time together and time to recharge.

Family attractions like the famous Australia Zoo fit easily with a day exploring the quaint towns, art galleries, country pubs and markets, mountain trails and waterfalls of the hinterland. The drive from Beerwah through lush undulating hills, rainforest and fertile farmlands to Eumundi offers breathtaking views to the coast and the Glasshouse Mountains.
