Enjoy your stay at Lilyponds Holiday Park (Top Tourist Park) on the Blackall Range overlooking Queensland's Sunshine Coast. The park is set amongst beautiful gardens and magnificent trees, and is part of the chain of lilyponds which are abundant with birdlife and waterlilies. You can choose to stay in one of their fully equipped en-suite cabins for couples or en-suite cabins (one with wheelchair access and facilities) or similar. They have large powered caravan sites, and delightful camping spaces amongst the gracious old trees of the avocado orchard.

Nestled on the northern rim of the Blackall Range escarpment, the charming village of Mapleton is a pleasant five minutes walk from Lilyponds Holiday Park. This area is famous for panoramic views, arts and crafts, shopping and for the rainforests and waterfalls of the adjacent state forests and national parks.

Children's facilities include a fully equipped babies bathroom as well as a standard family bathroom for the use of all park visitors. The swimming pool has been specifically designed to be suitable for toddlers.
Deposits will be refunded (less AUD10.00 administration fee) if the booking is cancelled more than one week in advance of the commencement date. If the cancellation is due to illness or accident a full refund may be made. No refunds are made for non-arrivals.
The cabin for disabled/larger families has been rated as 'disabled with assistance'. It has ramp access, disabled bathroom, master bedroom and accommodates a wheelchair.
Free avocados are available from the on site orchard at Lilyponds Holiday Park from May to October.
Access to the property from Brisbane, head north on the Bruce Highway towards the Sunshine Coast. Route One, by-passing Nambour and taking the Blackall Range Tourist Drive. Stay on Bruce Highway and go past the Nambour Maroochydore turn off. Three warning signs on left: Gympie/Nambour Mudjimba two kilometres; Nambour/Mudjimba one kilometre (Nambour Bli Bli Road); Mapleton/Montville/Maleny this exit (Blackall Range Tourist Drive No 23). Take the Nambour/Mudjimba exit (Nambour Bli Bli Road and Blackall Range Tourist Drive No 23) and follow the road around to the left. Take the first exit at the roundabout (Nambour/Mapleton - Tourist Drive 23), ignore service road and continue on Blackall Range Tourist Drive 23.
Go straight ahead at the main intersection with traffic lights and sign saying Nambour (left) Mapleton and Hospital straight ahead. Continue on Blackall Range Tourist Drive 23, at Nambour Hospital T Junction, with traffic lights, go straight ahead. Access to the property is via the Blackall Range Tourist Drive 23, along Nambour Mapleton Road going up the hill (approximately 10 kilometres), do not take left turns to Nambour. There are two main steep sections of the drive up to Mapleton, the only overtaking lane is one and a half kilometres after the beginning of the first section, and lasts for approximately one kilometre, ending at Dulong Lookout.
The second steep section lasts about 750 metres and ends when you reach Mapleton. At the top of the hill you will see a large pink Tavern and three roads. Take the very sharp right hand turn into Post Office Road, go past the Bowls Club and Post Office, take the first turn on the left into Warruga Street and the entrance to Lilyponds is on the bend in Warruga Street.
Minimum stays are applicable on weekends, school holidays and public holidays - please contact the operator for details. Linen is included on all main beds and can be hired for all other beds at AUD10.00 per bed per stay. Children under two years stay free of charge.
