Description
The XXXX Gold Roma Cup is western Queensland's largest and most glamorous race meeting.
Attracting around 10,000 punters from around the state, accommodating them on site at Swag Central or in motels around town, the race meeting and the weekend festivities make it the best weekend that can be had in the bush. All within a half day drive from the south-east corner.
... moreThe weekend kicks off Friday evening with the Calcutta and Cocktail Party in town. Saturday race day starts around 11 am and is an action-packed day of racing, fashion and socialising. Following the races, live music allows for an afterparty that finishes in the wee hours of Sunday morning and a recovery breakfast at Bassett Park sends travellers on their way with a full stomach and some spectacular memories.

How To Get There
Roma is about five hours drive west of Brisbane on the Warrego Highway. The race track is one kilometre north of town and within walking distance of the town centre.
