Easterfest is a three-day national music festival at Easter held in the beautiful Southern Queensland Country regional city, Toowoomba. It is one of Australia's largest drug and alcohol free ticketed precinct in Australia.
Thousands of people travel to Toowoomba from all over Australia to be part of the incredibly atmosphere at Easterfest. Over 150 artists will perform throughout venues in Queen's Park and in cafe's, restaurants, pubs, outdoor stages and shopping centres in the Central Business District.... more
Headline acts confirmed for Easterfest include Grammy award winning artist from San Diego - Switchfoot. Along with ex lead singer of Newsboys, Peter Furler and Steve Taylor from The Perfect Foil. More artists confirmed October, 2014.
Easterfest's entertainment has a diverse music appeal including rock, jazz, heavy metal, folk. It also includes rides and a dedicated area for children. Festival attendees can camp on Queen's Park or stay at one of Toowoomba's hotels/motels.... less
Easterfest has a massive kids area in Queen's Park with kid friendly entertainment and hours of activities including a giant sandpit, rides and a jumping castle. Plus there's a cafe area for parents to sit and chat whilst keeping an eye on their children! Children four and under are free.
People wishing to camp on Queens Park for the weekend are able to park close by the festival on the Tafe carpark. A special car pass will be given once exiting the campgrounds.
Day visitors are encouraged to park in Toowoomba's CBD car parks or in legal street parks.

Tickets can be exchanged for armbands upon arrival. This will give you access to all ticketed precincts. Tickets can be purchased online or at the gate.
Easterfest is mainly situated in the ticketed precinct of Queens Park (Cnr of Hume & Margaret Street) but also spills into the streets of Toowoomba in cafes, restaurants, pubs and shopping centres. Many of these events are free. But some are ticketed.
How To Get There
Toowoomba is approximately a 90 minutes drive from Brisbane. Greyhound buses can be caught from the airport or Brisbane city to a bus terminal walking distance from Queens Park.
Interstate travellers can now catch a plane direct from Sydney to Wellcamp. (20 minutes from Toowoomba's Central Business District) Flights can also be taken from other destinations around Australia via Sydney or into Brisbane airport.

This event utilises outdoor and indoor venues so it is recommended to come prepared for all weather. Toowoomba can be hot during the day and cold at night. So pack a coat, raincoat and gumboots!
