Bloomin Beautiful Blackbutt Festival will launch the South Burnett Spring Festival calendar running at the Gateway to the magical South Burnett Region in Bloomin Beautiful Blackbutt. During the weekend, the town of Blackbutt comes alive as you meander along the Festival trail on foot, horse drawn carriage, trackless train or courtesy bus with displays, competitions, performing artists, market stalls, educational speakers, demonstrations, art workshops, musical entertainment and local food, wine, produce featured in and around the town, along the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail and in the main street.... more
The Festival Trail begins this year at the Blackbutt Showgrounds where free parking for cars, buses and vans.
A free courtesy bus will travel the Festival Trail and at designated times tour the winning gardens in the Garden Competition. The Trackless Train will be running on time. Take a leisurely trip along the Festival Trail atop a Clydesdale drawn wagon.... less

How To Get There
The timber towns of Blackbutt and Benarkin are located on top of the Blackbutt Range at the eastern gateway to Queensland's South Burnett region. They're approximately 140 kilometres north-west of Brisbane on Highway 17.
They can be reached by following: the D'Aguilar Highway from Caboolture, the Brisbane Valley Highway through Esk, the New England Highway via Yarraman, the D'Aguilar Highway from Kingaroy.
