Vacy Hall is a unique accommodation experience. Indulge in the shade of deep cool verandahs in summertime or in winter enjoy the romance of an open fireplace in your room. 12 guest bedrooms boast architectural features of the last century with modern facilities. Offering suites, en suite and standard rooms, all individually decorated with Australian antiques, eight open fireplaces and extensive gardens, Vacy Hall provides accommodation for the discerning traveller.

Set in Toowoomba's historic Mort Estate which offers self-guided walking tours, fascinating old streets and Vacy Hall is close to the popular antique district. While in the central business district and within 150 metres of shops, theatres and restaurants Vacy Hall is free of the busy road noise offered by other accommodation options.

Vacy Hall is a low set colonial mansion. There are some ramps onto the verandahs that wrap around the house so disabled access is possible.

Cancellation Policy

To confirm a booking a payment of 50 per cent of the deposit is required by cheque or by providing a credit card, although no charge will be processed at this time.

If you cancel giving more than two weeks notice, there is no penalty and if you paid by cheque your deposit will be returned.

If you cancel with less than two weeks notice, Vacy Hall will attempt to resell the room. If the room is resold, there is no penalty and if you paid by cheque your deposit will be returned. If they can't resell the room, and you paid by cheque you will forfeit your deposit or if you provided credit card details they will process a charge of 50 per cent of the rate quoted.

If you do not arrive and you do not call to cancel, or you cancel within 48 hours of the bookings, then the full room rate quoted will be charged.

General Comments

Vacy Hall is also ideal for small business meetings or reunions for families and friends as well as for weddings and honeymoon accommodation.

How To Get There

Margaret Street from top of the range. Continue through the central business district before turning right into Victoria Street (at the Coffee Club - before the railway line). Turn left into Russell Street, Vacy Hall is approximately 500 metres along Russell Street on the right.

Emperor Suite With Open Fireplace

You will feel like royalty in this antique brass emperor-sized four poster bed with a lace canopy - there is also an antique three quarter sized single bed (suitable for children). This suite is of very grand proportions with an antique open fireplace, big comfy armchairs and an en suite bathroom. Step through Cedar bay casement window onto wide and shady verandahs.
