Greyhound is one of the most environmentally efficient travel operators in Australia. They use the cleanest diesel on the Australian Market (BP 10ppm) and are constantly upgrading the fleet to ensure they lower carbon emissions.
Greyhound Australia offers three types of tickets: Oz-Flexi and Oz-Choice Passes and Express Fare offering flexible ways to travel around Australia.
The most popular of their Oz-Flexi passes is the Kilometre Pass, giving you complete flexibility when you travel. Simply purchase a bank of kilometres, up to 20,000 kilometres and travel in any direction; hopping on and off as you like.
Oz-Choice Passes cover the most popular pre-set routes ready made for you to visit destinations like; Kakadu, Byron Bay, the beautiful beaches of the East and West Coasts of Australia and cosmopolitan capital cities. A popular Pass is the Mini Traveller Pass from Sydney to Cairns, perfect for shorter trips, passengers have 45 days to explore whichever section of the East Coast they choose.
Passes are valid for between one to 12 months from the first date of travel.

Children: Unaccompanied children between the ages of 12 and 14 (inclusive) will be carried provided they carry an Unaccompanied Child/Children Form and to the driver of the Service. The Unaccompanied Child/Children Form is to be completed by a parent/guardian/adult responsible stating telephone number and address in town of departure, and name, address and telephone number of persons meeting child on arrival Greyhound Australia does not carry children of 11 years and under (inclusive) unless they are accompanied by an adult.
Miscellaneous:
Children are catered for. A person must be 15 years and over to be in charge of children between the ages of three and 11 years (inclusive). A person must be 18 years or over to be in charge of a child under the age of three years, unless the child's parent is under the age of 18 years. Unaccompanied children up to the age of seven years will not be carried on any Greyhound Australia service. Unaccompanied children between the ages of seven and 11 years (inclusive) are able to travel with Greyhound subject to special conditions.
Express tickets are non-refundable. For an Aussie Fee an AUD75.00 cancellation fee applies. If travel has commenced no refund will be given.
As a national coach company, Greyhound Australia travel to over 1100 destinations daily.
Baggage: Each fare paying passenger is allowed two bags up to 20 kilograms per item. Additional items will go at normal freight rates. For all Explorer and Kilometre Passes, excess luggage will be charged at a rate of 10 per cent of the Aussie Pass Value. This will remain valid for the duration of the Pass. Subject to change without notice.
