Bushwalking with Boots A'Walkin is a wonderful hobby. It is a very personal thing. You can choose to stroll leisurely or climb to mountain tops. There are short walks, long walks. Little mountains, big mountains. Some people enjoy walking for a day and returning to the luxury of a shower and comfortable bed. Others will carry their bedding and food and camp out overnight. Regardless of your preference, the rewards are great.
Spending time in the bush restores the spirit. The spirit is the very essence of who they are. Caring for the core of the being helps to remain positive and willing to make the most of life. Not to become dispirited.
How can walking in the bush keep the spirit uplifted? Whilst physically taxing, there is also a need to be focused on the activity. This allows them to be present in ""the now"". Too often the minds are skipping ahead to what they need to do tomorrow or later. Living in ""the now"" frees, restores and enlivens. Bushwalking requires the type of concentration which leaves little room for worrying about other matters. The beauty of nature, if allowed, can at times almost overwhelm.

Boots A'Walkin offers a friendly relaxed service. You can expect to have a physical and uplifting experience. The individual's decision to bushwalk automatically creates their own expectation. Each person will see, hear and feel in their own unique way. Imagine enjoying a well earned lunch in the peace of the rainforest or looking down on the world from a mountain top! At the end of a day, whether you have climbed a mountain or wandered through the bush, a sense of health, well being, achievement and perhaps weariness is almost a guarantee!
The sense of achievement at the end of the day, enhances our self esteem. Stepping outside of our comfort zone, whether physically or mentally definitely increases how we feel about ourselves. Walking is a natural activity. It allows us to exercise our bodies in a familiar way. With a pack, containing our daily ration, on our back we can experience a wonderful sense of freedom and independence. How good does that lunch taste out there amongst the beauty of the bush! Then there is of course laughter. What a fabulous way to exercise the muscles in our face and release the tensions of everyday life. Laughter is almost obligatory on bushwalks. Good company, fabulous scenery, exercise and challenge! It is impossible not to smile!
