The Sirromet Long Lunch will be held on 1 November at Sirromet's Seven Scenes Vineyard just south of Ballandean in Queensland's premier wine producing area. This year the lunch will kick off with an hour long concert by Sydney's favourite Bush Band, The Inland Navigators.
After the concert, 800 lucky guests get to soak up the atmosphere this unique experience has to offer - an outdoor table, 300 metres long, running under a shaded boulevard along one of three of Sirromet's cool climated vineyards.
Guests can expect to enjoy a gourmet hamper with a selection of dips and antipasto products with crusty fresh breads, followed by a barbecue lunch featuring Black Angus 300 gram rib fillet steaks, camp oven potatoes and fresh garden salads. There will be a barbecue station every 15 metres along the table to ensure beef is cooked to perfection. Dessert will feature a rhubarb and pear crumble.
