The Sleepy Lagoon Hotel Motel is located in Tin Can Bay which is adjacent to the southern end of World Heritage Listed Fraser Island. From Tin Can Bay it is only a short drive to Inskip Point, which is the barge departure point for Fraser Island. Tin Can Bay offers a quiet relaxing holiday location. Visitors can enjoy many pursuits such as swimming, fishing, sailing, golf, lawn bowls, house-boating to name just a few. Wild dolphins visit the main boat ramp most mornings and can be fed by visitors.

The hotel provides clean budget accommodation, all meals are prepared by a qualified chef, and there is a Pub TAB and poker machines. Backpackers are very welcome and catered for. The Motel was opened at Easter 2004 with an additional eight rooms built ready for Easter 2006. Rooms are self contained, air conditioned and very comfortable. Tours to Fraser Island, fishing charters, sailing and boat tours can be arranged by hotel staff.

Full a la carte menu prepared by a qualified chef. Budget meals also provided. Restaurant specialising in fresh local seafood. Dining room, non smoking area and air conditioned.
