Must See and Do

Visit North Stradbroke Island, the second largest sand island in the world! There are kilometres of golden beaches, freshwater lakes and ocean waters teeming with marine life including dolphins, manta rays, turtles and humpback whales.

Queensland's largest and most highly awarded winery is located in Mount Cotton, a country suburb of Redland City. A must-visit for food and wine buffs. Enjoy stunning views of surrounding bushland, the bay and North Stradbroke Island from the fine dining restaurant, outdoor dining or busy cellar door and cafe.

Catch a short 10 minute ferry ride to little Coochiemudlo Island. The island is only five square kilometres in size so there is no need to take a car - just pack a picnic and go for a walk. If you are looking for something a little more active, try your hand at paddleboarding, tandem bike-riding, kayaking or jump on an old-fashioned aqua-bike and cruise around the calm waters of Moreton Bay.

On low tide take a walk out to King Island at Wellington Point. This walk is exceptionally beautiful on dusk as the sky becomes an array of colours as you watch the sun fall below the horizon.

Look out over the picturesque marina at Raby Bay Harbour as you dine at some of the City's best restaurants.
