Tambo is a cohesive community with a strong 'sense of place' that is reflected in its attractive main street, quality social infrastructure and successful community events and organisations.
The sesquicentennial celebrations will be a significant event in the history of Tambo, and Tambo is in a position to deliver a unique experience spanning a seven day period including a street party with floats, street theatre and music. Local sporting events such as a golf day, fishing competition and a polocrosse chukka competition will welcome participation and the opportunity to showcase what they have on offer.
