Description
Horse of the North Challenge is a Stockman's Challenge event held annually at the Dalrymple Equestrian Centre, Charters Towers. There are two major age divisions; Under five yearss Challenge and Open Challenge. The event consists of a Dry Work Pattern and a Cattlework section, similar to campdrafting. The even is run in conjunction with the Toomba Stockhorse Sale.

The committee's focus is on seeing horsemanship improve; especially with the younger up and coming riders - they are the future of their sport.
