Big Red Scenic Flight

15 minutes west of Birdsville is the famous Big Red Sand Dune one of the highest in the Simpson Desert.

From Birdsville you will fly over Lake Nappanerica to Big Red where you will land and let you feel the fine red sand between your toes. From there they fly over Big Red and follow the Dune south to Little Red and follow the QAA line home.

Goyders Lagoon Scenic Flight

Departing from Birdsville flying south via the Diamantina River with its abundant bird life, you will arrive at the unforgettable Goyders Lagoon at the junction of Eyre Creek. Here you can walk and smell the beautiful wild flowers and views other native plants unique to this area. From here you fly up the Famous Birdsville inside track home.

Annandale Ruins Scenic Flight

From Birdsville you fly via Lake Nappanerica and Big Red for beautiful Eyre Creek, then north up the Eyre Creek and over the wild flowers for the Annandale ruins, here you can investigate the old Sidney Kidman station. Then you fly back via the Simpson Desert with its contrast in colours.
