The Inaugural Australian Stockman's Hall of Fame Horse and Heritage Expo in Longreach is a four day event celebrating Australian rural heritage. It recognises the contribution of the horse to the nation's history, and will showcase Australian horse sports in the modern era.
Tradition will play a big role with displays including pack horse handling, hobbling, station buck jumps, breaking demonstrations and other horse related skills.
