The Longreach Campus of the Australian Agricultural College, established in 1967, is the largest and longest established provider of practical agricultural and vocational training in Queensland.

The Longreach Campus of the Australian Agricultural College is dedicated to excellence through quality training and development of practical people for the rural and associated industries. Areas of interest include rural business management, mechanics and welding, building construction, sheep and wool, goat production, cattle and horses, and station activities.

Guided tours of the College are available from April to October. Visitors can walk around the College's extensive facilities and observe students at work in a practical rural environment.

Air-conditioned seminar rooms and a state-of-the-art auditorium are available for conferences and meetings. Motel style accommodation and catering services are also available on campus for the convenience of meeting and conference groups.
