Australian Age of Dinosaurs is home to the world's largest collection of Australian dinosaur fossils. A working dinosaur museum and research laboratory, it's located on 1,400 hectares of spectacular mesa plateau with vast scenery, wildlife and walking trails. At the museum you'll see and hear about their exciting dinosaurs, including gigantic sauropods and ""Banjo"", Australia's greatest carnivorous dinosaur. Staff invite everyone to be directly involved in this exciting initiative; prepare a real dinosaur bone in their Prep Lab, or book in to be part of a real dinosaur dig. With your help they can bring the prehistory to life!!

How To Get There
Australian Age of Dinosaurs is located east of Winton off the Matilda Highway (heading toward Longreach). The Australian Age of Dinosaurs turnoff is clearly marked on the highway about 10 kilometres from Winton. The access road runs about another 10 kilometres to their location at the top of the mesa plateau (called The Jump-Up).
Inclusion
Guided tours last about one hour and there is ample opportunity for questions and discussion after. Those interested in preparing dinosaur bones in the laboratory are best to book ahead to check positions are available on the day. Please contact the operator to make a booking.
