The Adventure Way takes you from Brisbane to Adelaide via Queensland's richest grain and cotton producing area surrounding Dalby. It travels through Brigalow and belah belts to the outback plains where mulga lines the road and eventually gives way to a treeless gibber landscape at the Queensland, South Australia border.

The Adventure Way is fully sealed from Brisbane to Ballera and from the Flinders Ranges to Adelaide. A four-wheel drive is highly recommended to travel from Ballera down the Strzelecki Track. Please contact the nearest Visitor Information Centre for road conditions. The Adventure Way is 2398 kilometres from Brisbane to Adelaide.
