Eulo is a haven for bird watchers with more than 180 species. Major Mitchell Cockatoos, Mulga Parrots, Malee Ringnecks, Bourke's Parrots and the rare Halls Babbler to name but a few.
Approximately nine kilometres out of town heading west towards Thargomindah are the Eulo Mud Springs. These springs are unique to this area and are a natural vent to the Great Artesian Basin.
Visit the Palm Grove Date Farm and Winery shop and taste some locally produced date wine, sticky date liqueur and a range of date and fig delights. While you're there you may wish to book in for a private mud bath under the stars.

The little shop that's got the lot, Eulo's general store offers a full range of fruit and vegetables, groceries, fuel, local opals, Paroo honey and locally produced moisturizers and creams.
Directly opposite the general store, the Paroo Patch offers a range of high quality polo tops, hand bags and leather goods all hand made on the premises.
A two minute stroll from the general store is the Bilby Burrow, offering unique local products including opals, jewellery, giftware, souvenirs, aboriginal paintings and artefacts.

Camping and accommodation is also available at the Eulo Queen Hotel. The hotel has clean amenities, two cabins and shearers quarters rooms are also available. So call in, stay a couple of nights and enjoy a cold drink at the bar or on the verandah.
Eulo is the last 'big town' en route to the 360,000 acre Currawinya National Park incorporating Lake Numalla (fresh) and Lake Wyara (salt), a pleasant day trip from Eulo.

How To Get There:
The roads to Eulo are bitumen all the way from Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide, so access in any vehicle is easy. Eulo is 68 kilometres west of Cunnamulla or 125 kilometres east of Thargomindah on the Adventure Way.
