The Blacksmiths Cottage is a charming historic cottage with extensive verandas set in a pretty garden with half acre grounds very close to shops, attractions and transport. It's fully restored with period furniture and four poster bed in the main bedroom with summer house for a leisurely afternoon tea in quiet, private surroundings. The cottage is suitable for a couple or family of four or two couples travelling together.
It has modern amenities and covered garage and a very reasonable tariff compared with similar elsewhere. Enjoy complimentary self serve light breakfast, tea, coffee and biscuits. The cottage is suitable to stay overnight, for a few days or weekly so visit local attractions or those in nearby towns approximately one hour away. All linen, crockery and washing facilities are provided free of charge. Be prepared to be surprised at what you will find inside.

The owner/operator upon arrival visits and gives guests an insight into how people lived back in 1892, with modern day comforts built in. The owner does not live onsite.
Check in at the Tourist Information Centre at Oak Street, Barcaldine who will provide directions.

The property is only available for bookings between April and September.
