Carisbrooke Station is a working sheep and cattle station situated 85 kilometres south west of Winton in a very colourful area of Cory's Range and the Williams Valley. Day Tours operate from Winton visiting the scenic and historical areas of the property, an old opal mine, keyline irrigation system, and the site of the forced landing of the United States Flying Fortress ""The Swoose"", during World War II.
Large areas of timber and water encourage bird watching approximately one hour drive to Lark Quarry Dinosaur Trackways. There is a 1000 metre airstrip adjacent to the house.
