Description
Situated 85 kilometres southwest of Winton amidst the splendour of Cory's Range fascinating red mesa country, Carisbrooke Station offers visitors a unique outback experience. Guests can choose to stay in clean comfortable self-contained station accommodation or make use of the caravan and camping facilities. While at Carisbrooke you can unwind by bushwalking or birdwatching, painting and photography or just relaxing in tranquil surroundings. A variety of tours run from Carisbrooke or Winton taking in magnificent views, aboriginal sites, an opal mine, sheep and cattle grazing, wildlife and spectacular sunsets. There is also an access pass that allows you restricted access to explore some areas on your own either by car, bicycle or walking. Carisbrooke is an ideal base for visiting other local attractions including Lark Quarry, Opalton, Old Cork Waterhole and Historic Winton.

How To Get There:
From Winton take the Cloncurry Road for four kilometres. Turn left onto the Boulia Road for 34 kilometres. Turn left onto Cork Mail Road (dirt) and travel 45 kilometres. Carisbrooke is on the left one kilometre in from the road.
1100 metre airstrip is located near the accommodation.
