Tour Access:
Tour this magnificent property and learn all about the hardships and way of life the early pioneers had to endure during settlement. Transfer to the Ooline plantation that features one of the rarest rainforest species of bush and trees dating back over 1.6 million years. Observe many forms of native Australian wildlife. Transfer back to the homestead for a traditional ~smoko' country morning tea feast with the owners Lyle and Madonna Connolly.
Tour operates Tuesday and Thursdays. Bookings Essential. Adults AUD50.00 per person, Children AUD15.00 per person, Group concessions apply.

Cancellation Information:
All bookings must be accompanied by a deposit of 50 per cent. Final payment must be in cash only as Electronic Funds Transfer at Point of Sale (EFTPOS) and credit Card transactions are not available. Cancellations inside 48 hours prior to date of arrival will incur no refund of deposit.

How To Get There:
Bonus Downs Farmstay is just 650 kilometres west of Brisbane, approximately seven hours drive from Brisbane and one hour and 45 minutes from Roma. It is 46 kilometres south west of Mitchell on the Bollon Road with bitumen to the entrance and is only half an hour from the Great Artesian Spa Complex. Property is serviced by own airstrip capable of landing light fixed wing aircraft. Global Positioning System Co-ordinates are 26 degrees 42 minutes south 147 degrees 41 minutes east. Please (phone first for permission to land).

Tariff Information:
Breakfast can be purchased (with prior arrangement) for a fee. A three course dinner can also be purchased (with prior arrangement) for AUD45.00 per adult and AUD20.00 for children. A tour of the Bonus Downs Homestead followed by smoko is also available (with prior arrangement) for AUD25.00 per adult and AUD5.00 for children. A tour of the Bonus Downs Homestead, Ooline Plantation and Smoko is also available (with prior arrangement) for AUD50.00 per adult and AUD15.00 for children.
Children up to three years of age stay free of charge (however no cots are supplied).

These rooms have a choice of either twin single or king beds, and all linen and towels are supplied. The room has a wardrobe and chest of drawers, and heaters and ceiling fans in all rooms, but please note these rooms are not air conditioned! They have French doors lead onto verandas.
