Birdsville Caravan Park is a welcoming and spacious tourist park located at iconic Birdsville, south-west Queensland, on the edge of the Simpson Desert. The park is situated beside the picturesque Diamantina Billabong and has everything you would expect from a tourist park. Powered sites, unlimited camping space, ensuite cabins and motel style rooms with shared facilities. Why not hire one of their new kayaks and take an early morning paddle on the spectacular Diamantina billabong. At night check out the desert sunset on their Big Red Sunset Tour. Birdsville Caravan Park is the ideal place to stop and recharge the batteries before heading into the desert.

Yes. Pets are very welcome in the park. You must advise on booking or arrival that pets are travelling with them. Pets must be on a lead at all times.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be in writing. Notification of booking cancellation where at least 28 days notice is given any deposits or payments made will be refunded less a AUD30.00 fee. If less than 28 days notice is given a refund of any monies paid will only be made if the room or site is rebooked less a fee of AUD30.00. No refunds will be made if cancellation is made within 24 hours of arrival time.
General Comments
Birdsville Caravan Park has its own bus and troop carrier and provide the Skinny Dingo Tours including a Birdsville Experience, Big Red Sunset Tour and much, much more as well as providing transfers and personalised tours.
How To Get There
Birdsville Caravan Park is located in Florence Street which is on the south-east side of town. Birdsville is approximately 1,600 kilometres west of Brisbane.
Motel Style Accommodation
The motel style rooms do not have ensuite or cooking facilities. Camp style kitchen available for cooking.
