Set in the true Australian Outback, on land bordering the Bulloo River, the Explorers Caravan Park is a top class complex for Caravanners. Our Park comprises of 25 large powered sites (17 drive-through) with dump facilities located on each site. There are numerous unpowered camping sites, six ensuite self-contained luxury cabins and a bunkhouse for the budget conscious with four single rooms.
The Park boasts a modern well designed large indoor/outdoor camp kitchen with ovens, microwave, television and stools, free gas and electric barbeques with patio tables and chairs as well as heating/cooling. The amenities block is fully tiled with ample clean showers and toilets, including disabled facilities and wheelchair access.
Located at the end of Dowling Street, Explorers Caravan Park is very close to the shops, hotels, restaurants and the town attractions. It is an ideal location to base yourself for day tours to the National Parks, bird watching, visiting historic pubs (Noccundra, Hungerford, Toompine) or the Burke and Wills ""Dig Tree"". Visit the afternoon Hydro Power Display or take one of the other walks around town, or just put your feet up and do some Yellow Belly fishing and Yabby catching in the river and water holes.

Children: They welcome children under their parents control please. The Bulloo Shire has provided a playground area for families with a free barbecue and public toilets for your use just a short stroll down-town, about 50 meters down the road.
Disabled: Explorers Caravan Park has wheelchair access and showers and toilets for guests requiring to use facilities for the disabled. They also have an ensuite cabin which is set-up especially for disabled guests.
Miscellaneous:
There is a boom gate for security at the park and they do an evening security walk-around, so if you have any problems at all please let them know.
